Vartkess Knadjian’s visit to WPHH 2024, Japan
Backes & Strauss, the world’s oldest diamond company, is thrilled to announce the recent visit of CEO Vartkess Knadjian to Japan, where he attended the prestigious WPHH (World Premiere of Haute Horlogerie) events in Osaka, Fukuoka, Okayama, Nagoya and finally in Tokyo. During these exclusive events, Backes & Strauss proudly presented two of its most extraordinary creations: The Regent Argyle and the Piccadilly Renaissance 40 Full diamond timepiece.
The Regent Argyle captivated audiences with its unparalleled elegance and rarity. This unique timepiece is set with Fancy Pink Diamonds sourced from the now - closed Argyle mine in Australia, making it a true collector’s item. Accompanying the watch is a stunning jewellery set comprising of the Victoria 4 Interlocking Heart pendant, ring and earrings, all adorned with the same exquisite Fancy Pink Diamonds. The Regent Argyle represents the pinnacle of luxury and the exceptional craftsmanship that Backes & Strauss is renowned for.
In addition to the Regent Argyle, Backes & Strauss also unveiled the Piccadilly Renaissance 40 Full Diamond watch. This magnificent watch is set with 1,474 brilliant ideal-cut diamonds meticulously set on the dial, case, bracelet and the crown. Each diamond is hand polished, selected and expertly set to create a dazzling display of light and beauty.
