Backes & Strauss is delighted to announce that we will be working together with the world’s first shared ownership platform for fine jewellery - Covett.
Covett gives people access to fine jewellery and watches without having to ‘break the bank.’ As a co-owner you will own an equal 20% share of an item which will be shared amongst 3 other co-owners. Covett retains a 20 % share and to cover logistics, cleaning and maintenance, and insurance.
Backes & Strauss have chosen an exceptional selection of some of our most unique and rarest timepieces to be featured on the platform.

Shared ownership and subscription platform, Covett (launched in 2018), enables watch lovers to access more of what they love - beautifully-crafted timepieces - at a fraction of the cost.
This means that the beautiful timepieces that may have previously been unattainable are now within reach, and those struggling to decide between which watches to adore, now no longer need to choose.
