regent collection
all regent berkeley Piccadilly renaissance victoria
As part of Backes & Strauss’ classic watch collection, the iconic oval-shaped Regent timepieces take their inspiration from the architecture of John Nash. The classical proportions of Nash’ legacies in London – Regent Street, Regent’s Park, St James’s Park – can be seen in the sweeping curves and bold symmetry of the Regent Collection. Each of our classic luxury watches are set with at least one diamond in the crown, known as the “Jewel in the Crown”.
berkeley collection
From its original suite of luxury watches, Backes & Strauss’ square-shaped Berkeley collection is inspired by one of London’s great squares, Berkeley Square: a graceful garden in the heart of the elegant bustling Mayfair. Originally laid out in the 18th century by Palladian master and landscape architect William Kent, Berkeley Square's picturesque plane trees were planted in 1789, the year Backes & Strauss began trading. Alluding to the company’s dual craftsmanship in diamonds and watchmaking, each Berkeley timepiece is set with at least one diamond in the crown, known as the “Jewel in the Crown”.
piccadilly collection
Backes & Strauss’ classic round watches from the Piccadilly Collection are named after – and shaped by John Nash’s great circular junction, Piccadilly Circus, the epicentre of London since it was built in 1819. Nash created Piccadilly Circus to complement Oxford Circus, then known as Regent Circus North, which was located at the other end of the sweeping street Nash had designed, Regent Street. Like all watches from Backes & Strauss’ classic luxury collection, each Piccadilly timepiece is set with at least one diamond in the crown, known as the “Jewel in the Crown”.

victoria collection
Luxury jewelry timepieces for women, the Victoria collection is inspired by Backes & Strauss' 19th-century jewelry designs from the company’s archive collection, notably the Victorian era. The interlocking heart motif is a leitmotif of this luxury collection, alluding to Queen Victoria’s everlasting love for Prince Albert.
classic Victoria
Pioneering our suite of Victoria timepieces, our Classic Victoria cocktail watches for women consist of a delicate garland of diamond-set interlocking hearts; an exquisite piece of jewellery that can equally tell the time.
Princess Victoria
Building on the elegant interlocking hearts design from Backes & Strauss’ 19th century jewellery archives and without jeopardising the playful charm of the classic Victoria collection, the Princess Victoria collection represents a series of elegant time-telling jewels. The luxurious and supple diamond-set bracelet of the Princess Victoria watch has been designed for ultimate comfort.
Lady Victoria
Blurring the lines between jewellery and watchmaking, Backes & Strauss’ Lady Victoria collection is a true testament of our heritage and jewellery know-how. The diamond-set interlocking hearts forming its exquisite bracelet, allude to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert’s eternal love. A luxury cocktail watch like no other.
Miss Victoria
The Miss Victoria collection brings a renewed fresh and youthful elegance to the Victoria timepiece family. Much like its sister collections, the Miss Victoria vows eternal love by the interlocking heart motif from Backes & Strauss’ 19th Century jewellery archives. Whilst being inspired by the effervescent spirit of youth, the Miss Victoria simultaneously exudes a distinguished grace for the female wrist; a luxurious time-telling jewel.
Countess Victoria
Drawing inspiration from Backes & Strauss’ 19th century jewellery archives, the Countess Victoria collection represents a series of jewellery timepieces that are elegantly slender in form and pioneering in design. From the smooth curvature of the dials to the setting of the heart-shaped precious stones, these luxurious watches celebrate true craftsmanship in every minute detail.
